How To Prevent Weight Gain When The Weather Changes

Today you will discover how to prevent weight gain when the weather changes and guarantee to keep weight off even on the harshest of days.
No matter how dedicated you are to your exercise regimen and diet, changes in the weather can affect your mood for eating and exercise. During the rainy season it makes it impossible to enjoy outdoor exercises and this causes you to skip a day or two. When it gets a lot colder it makes it harder to get up in the morning and it may take a lot of will power to get moving.
Your eating habits and cravings can also be affected by the weather.

During the Holidays, it makes it so hard to stay away from the food that you know you should avoid. This is because of the many parties you may have to go to and the buffets that go with them. It can be a challenge to keep your weight down when the weather changes, but it can be done.

1. Exercise
There are no short cuts to losing weight or keeping a normal body weight. The only way to lose excess fat is through calorie burning exercises, correct nutrition, having the right attitude and Fat Burning Exercise Programs. Don't worry if you ate a little more than you should have at a party yesterday, the key is to not feel like you have let yourself down, rather that you enjoyed the evening and in your next workout you will make up for it by giving 100%

2. Never be Hungry
You may think that you should not eat much now so you can enjoy the buffet at the party later, but this is a very bad idea. When you get hungry, your blood sugar levels drop and this makes you twice as hungry causing you to eat more than you would normally, which will make your blood sugars shoot up. And we all know that is bad news.
Eat small meals every three to four hours. Choose healthy snacks like fruit, a light salad, a piece of whole grain toast or oatmeal. Dieting doesn't mean you should starve yourself. It is about eating reasonably and making smart choices.

3. Control your Alcohol
During the cold weather, you may be tempted to drink more alcoholic beverages. If not for that reason, you will be tempted to drink with your friends at parties. There is no harm in having a glass or two, but be reminded that alcoholic drinks are high in calories. It is best to limit your intake. You can alternate alcoholic with non-alcoholic drinks to minimize your consumption of alcohol.

4. Calorie Count
The only reason you gain weight is because your calorie intake increases. It is normal to have those times when you feel like you need to eat more or prefer to eat foods that you usually avoid. Weather can affect our eating mood too so you should be aware when you fall off your eating plan. Count your calories and know just how much calories exceeded your daily limit. Burn these calories with the proper workout that does the job.

5. Enjoy your food
One big reason why you crave for some food is because you are not satisfied with the taste of the healthy food choices you are allowed to eat. You have to enjoy eating. Just because it is healthy doesn't mean it has to be bland in taste. Research some recipes to make your regular diet food satisfying in terms of taste. If you enjoy your food you will not have the urge to binge or cheat, no matter what weather there is. There are various articles and exercise programs with diet tips which you can refer to as well.
