When you are attempting to create a healthier life, one of the most difficult habits to develop is eating in a nutritious manner. This by far is one of the hardest concepts to maintain on a regular basis especially if you are attempting to break some bad eating habits that have governed your life for some time now.
Getting out of the habit of eating fast food, gigantic meals at restaurants, ordering pizza delivery, and even overeating with food prepared at home, are just a handful of the habits that may be difficult to change. Nevertheless, if one of your main goals is to lose weight, then one of the healthiest habits you can start adhering to every day especially during the week is to "Pack it, Take it, Eat it".
Start Using This Healthy Habit Every Day During The Work Week: Pack It, Take It, Eat It
This is a simple way to remember that before leaving the house for work, it's crucial you pack food and snacks to take with you so you're not dependent on going out to eat, or getting unhealthy items from vending machines or the lunchroom cafeteria. Relying on these types of purchases will often get you eating in a manner that is not nutritious or appropriately portioned sized.
Did you know that an average medium-sized fast food meal consisting of a cheeseburger, fries, and a soda totals over 1,100 calories! That alone is far too many calories for one meal not to mention the excess amount of fat, sugar, and salt that comes along with that.
Aside from the extreme amount of sustenance that would be entering your body from this type of fast food meal, in reality practically none of it is beneficial. Plain and simple, it is unhealthy and one of the main reasons why over 1/3 of American adults are obese.
Do your body a favor and avoid being confronted with these tough decisions especially if you have trouble avoiding temptations such as these. By getting in the healthy habit of preparing a travel lunch and snacks to take with you when you are away from home, you will help guarantee you stick with your plan to improve your health.
Remember to always Pack It and Take It so you can Eat It at work and you will take one giant step forward in maintaining healthy nutrition when you're away from home.
